Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Lahore is the 2nd largest water utility of Pakistan which is responsible for water supply, sewerage & drainage management of the metropolitan city of Lahore, Pakistan. WASA, Lahore invites applications from interested candidates for recruitment on a contract basis for a duration of 36 months under the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the project titled "Sewerage System from LARECH Colony to Gulshan-e- Ravi through Trenchless Technology" (Lahore Water and Wastewater Management Project) to be funded by Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AllB). The mega project will be implemented on EPC Mode which comprises laying of around 26 km of trunk sewer through MTBM with pipes ranging from 1500mm to 3500mm on soft soil conditions.

The required Qualification and Experience is mentioned here under:

TBM Expert Geo 01 Technical Expert (PPS-12)

B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (preferably with M.Sc. in Geotechnical Engineering) from HEC recognized university with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience relating to micro-tunneling / tunneling.

Experience related to Geotechnical investigations of laying sewer through micro-tunneling / tunneling of large-scale projects, especially in a metropolitan area will be highly preferred.

4. The selected candidates shall not right for regular appointment as the hiring against said posts will be made purely on a contract basis.
5. In case the secondary school certificate does not bear date of birth candidate, the same shall be calculated from CNIC/Birth Certificate.
6. Degrees/Qualifications must be recognized by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan. Registration from PEC is mandatory where applicable.
7. Employees of Government/ Semi-Government /Autonomous bodies shall apply through the proper channel and will be required to present NOC from the competent Authority at the time of Interview.
8. No Travelling Allowance /Daily Allowance for the interview will be admissible. Date, time, and place of the interview will be communicated to the top-ranked shortlisted candidates.
9. Decision of the Selection Committee will be final and not be challengeable in any Court of Law.
10. WASA Lahore reserves the right to withhold the recruitment process at any stage.
